The story

Super Tappy Golf takes golf apart until one tap is the whole swing. There are no clubs to choose, no wind to read, and nothing you need to know about the sport. An arrow sweeps in front of your ball, you tap, and the ball flies where the arrow points. The arrow moves faster as your score improves, which is the entire difficulty curve.

Every hole is generated on the fly, so no two are ever the same and reading the hole is the real skill. A hole takes about twenty seconds. That is the hook: one more hole becomes twenty, on a bus, in a waiting room, in bed. The developer's own household covers the spread, a golfer and a non-golfer, along with a friend who has never set foot on a course, and all three keep playing.

Around that sit two ways to play, each with its own Game Center leaderboards: Classic, the endless round where every hole adds to your cumulative under-par score, and Survival, sudden death where one bogey ends the run. A Daily Challenge gives everyone in the world the same holes with one attempt and a shareable emoji score card. Unlockables run deep: dozens of golfers, ball colors and trails, and courses that change with setting, time of day, and atmosphere. Sunrise desert, snowy night city, stormy links.

The business model is deliberately old-fashioned: free, with no forced ads ever. You will never be interrupted by an ad. Watching a video is always a choice, always for a bonus, never required. One optional purchase removes the videos entirely, tokens are never sold, and the prize machine never dispenses a duplicate. Every prize you don't own has an equal chance.

There is history behind it. In 2014, Tappy Golf brought the same one-tap idea to the App Store in a bright voxel style, and its developer eventually chose not to renew the listing. Twelve years later the same solo developer rebuilt the whole thing from scratch in Unity 6.
